Jammu and Kashmir is India's northernmost state and is regarded as one of the major tourist hot spots in northern India. Jammu

Jammu is the state's largest city. Jammu is popularly known for its historic temples and ashrams. Jammu is in complete contrast from the culture of neighbouring Kashmir and Ladakh. Jammu also houses the most visited shrine of India Vaishno Devi. Jammu, being on the foothills of the Himalayas has a number of lakes, which attracts tourists throughout the year. Kashmir:

The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir is Srinagar, Located in Kashmir. Kashmir mainly consists of numerous valleys. Kashmir is also famous for its juicy apples and the rare saffron fibres. kashmir is also world famous for its beauty and offers the green hills and meadows of Gulmarg and Pahalgam. The Dal Lake, which is considered unanimously as Indias most beautiful lake is in Kashmir. The lake which remains frozen for most part of the year attracts tourists during summer, when the ice melts away and makes way for boat houses and numerous water activities. March to october are the best months to visit Kashmir.Trekking, Skiing, Mountain Biking Paragliding are the major activities to do in Kashmir. Leh-Ladakh:

The sheer majesty and beauty of this ethereal place is evident from its location that is graced by the commanding presence of the mighty Himalayas and the Karakoram range. Ladakh is also one of the most adventurous tourist spot in india. Spread along the valleys where the altitude rises from 9000 feet to 25170 feet, Ladakh is a destination where time stands still and you won't want to come back again to the regular routine. Ladakh is popular for monasteries, valleys, lakes, glaciers, festivals and the simple locals. Zanskar, Sankar Gompa, Alchi, Baltoro Glacier, Tso Morari Lake, Lamayuru Gompa, Siachen Glacier, Hemis Festival are the major attractions of the ladakh which attracts Travelers from every corner.
