For the adventurous souls, Dalhousie offers a great trail for trekking. The Khajjiar-Chamba-Khajjiar trail is a charismatic trail for admiring the nature. Dalhousie has a major hydroelectricity generating dam that has given birth to a beautiful artificial lake, Chamera. Dank und Peak
Daikund Peak is the highest mountain of the town with a great height of 2755 meters. Located at a distance of 10 kilometers from Dalhousie, the peak offers some incredible views of the town. The peak is also known as “Singing Hill” because of the enthralling sound that the wind makes while sweeping off the tree leaves.
If you love the idea of day picnic then this is the best place for you. The ghat is hardly 2 kilometers away from Dalhousie and a great stretch of plains surrounded by deodar trees. The singing birds and the up roaring stream through the forest accentuate the natural beauty of this place.
