Bicholim, pronounced also known as Dicholi, is a city and a municipal council in North Goa district in the state of Goa, India. Bicholim is same as Bardez. It is a town in the domain of Goa, and the central station of the concelho locale of a similar name; the Concelho of Bicholim, situated in the north-east quarter is one of the seven that make up the Novas Conquistas or New Conquests, regions added to Goa relatively last than the initial three of the Velhas Conquistas.
