Sree Madanantheswara Sidhivinayaka Temple, also referred to as Madhur Temple, is positioned within the northern district of Kasaragod. The temple with its three-tiered dome, copper-plated roofing and a cloistered courtroom, stands majestically towards the lovely landscape of the Madhuvahini River.Though the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Srimad Anantheswara, the endearing elephant-headed Lord Ganesha, the son of Siva and Parvathy, enjoys the prime region at Madhur Temple.
Ganesh Chaturthi and annual Madhur Bedi are the essential gala's celebrated here. Madhur Bedi is a five-day competition an at the fourth day, the deity will be taken out for procession. Vishu Sankramotsavam and Sivarathri are the other festivals celebrated here.
