Vettukadu Feast
About Vettukadu Feast
In Southern Kerala, individuals from all groups can be seen shaping a direct path to implore and invest some quality energy in isolation at the 500-year-old Madre-de-Deus Church at Vettukadu, a waterfront suburb situated in Kerala's capital city Thiruvananthapuram. The 74th yearly Feast of Christ the King at the Madre de Deus Church at Vettukad close here will be commended from November 11 to 20. Vicar-General of the Latin Archdiocese Eugene H Pereira, will manage the sacred mass to be held in the congregation at 4.15 pm on November 11.
The ten-day celebration will be set apart by supplication gatherings and different customs. From November 12 to 18, heavenly mass will be held at 6.15 am, 11 a.m, and 5.30 pm. On November 19, sacred mass as indicated by Syro Malankara ceremonies will be held at 3.30 pm. The night petitions at 5.30 pm will be managed by Monsignor George Paul. Fr Joy Joseph will convey the sermon.
