About Thulam Sankramam at Mujungavu

 

Sree Mujungavu Parthasarathi Krishna Deva Temple, positioned about three kilometres away from Kumble in Kasaragod is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The primary pageant celebrated right here is on the Thulam Sankramam day and is a seven-day competition.

 

On Thulam Sankramam day, devotee visits the temple to have a dip within the holy lake in front of the temple. It is believed that the water in the lake has precise energy for curing skin diseases. Before going to worship the deity, devotees offer handfuls of rice and horse gram to the holy water and could complete across the lake and could have a dip inside the waters.
