The Trojan Women by Euripides
About The Trojan Women by Euripides
The Slovene National Theater Nova Gorica presents the primary Slovenian generation of Euripides' catastrophe The Trojan Women, the opening creation of the current year's Festival. The generally ageless enemy of war disaster, with the outstanding course of Jasa Koceli and Marjuta Slamic in the job of Hecuba, assembled rave surveys from the Slovenian press and group of spectators, giving Marjuta Slamic the Tantadruj grant as a qualification for her presentation season /.
The Trojan War is finished; the Trojan saints have fallen; the imperial family is wrecked; the once great city is plundered. In a scene of destruction, under the demolished dividers, Hecuba – the mother, the lady, the ruler together with the ladies of Troy, all hostages of the Achaeans, regret over their tribulations and their destiny to be driven as slaves in the homes of the victors. In Trojan Women, Euripides communicates a determined "fault" for the outrages of war, censuring the savagery of man and acclaims his capacity to persevere.
