About The Randox Northern Ireland Potato Festival
The Randox Northern Ireland Potato Festival is an annual event held each year. The festival, which is now its 7th year, brings together contributors of the public and the farming community in a party of all components of the local potato industry. The competition became initiated to rejoice the memory of John Clarke, Ireland's maximum well-known potato breeder. It is a own family targeted occasion showcasing the very nice Northern Ireland produce, no longer best via potatoes but a full array of artisan manufacturers. There are kid’s activities and meals demonstrations a perfect day trip for the complete circle of relatives!
The competition takes place on Saturday 5th October on the grounds of the Causeway Hotel in close proximity to the arena heritage site, The Giant's Causeway. The Northern Ireland Potato Festival is held in a region known and respected for the power of the local agri-meals industry, world-elegance meals and delightful scenery, the pageant is free to participants of the general public.
