The La Gacilly Photo Festival
About The La Gacilly Photo Festival
Created in 2004 by Jacques Rocher, now President of the Yves Rocher Foundation, the Photo Peuples et Nature festival is a committed event at the crossroads of the world of art and photojournalism. The goal is to make visitors think about the future of the planet and the challenges of sustainable development. For four months, between May and September, the festival features hundreds of large format shots in the parks, the labyrinth of plants, the squares and the flowery streets of the small town. Each new edition honors a guest country and revolves around a theme related to the social and environmental concerns of our society.
Thanks to its success, the La Gacilly photo festival has already attracted more than 2.5 million visitors and exhibited more than 250 photographers from around the world, including the famous Steve Mc Curry, Robert Capa and Robert Doisneau, as well as talented photojournalists from whole world.
