Vasantrao Deshpande, Rahul truely has an affect of his grandfather's style on his song.

 

However, it's also recognized that Rahul advanced his interest in vocal song by studying the tune of Kumar Gandharva. Initially, he sought steerage from Ushatai Chipalkatti and Kumar Gandharva's son Mukul Shivputra.
