Svenskaya Fair
About Svenskaya Fair
Svenskaya Fair, well-known since the 17th century, was revamped in 2005. Nowadays it only lasts one day as opposed to a month. However, as in the olden days, there are still numerous types of goods on offer here. Each district of Bryansk will present its own farmstead, where participants will be greeted with the traditional bread and salt. Stockbreeders will hold a cattle exhibition and performances with riders. Visitors to the fair will have a chance to taste the products offered by agricultural producers in the region.
In the ‘Village of Masters’, artisans and craftsmen will conduct master class workshops such as basket weaving, sewing good luck dolls, and sculpting souvenirs from clay. Creative teams will entertain the fair’s guests and participants. Strolling along the merchant stalls, you will be able to buy all kinds of souvenirs. Where: Bryansk District, village of Suponevo, Andreevsky Meadow, near the walls of the Svensky Monastery.
