About Puistoblues

Puistoblues brings blues and gigars to Jarvenpaa to enjoy a real blues file. The 5 day event culminates with Saturday's main concert. High-quality rhythm music also played during the week in popular nightclubs and downtown Blues. The festival for the whole family is organized by the team. Already since the first Puistoblues event, shiny blue music artists have been seen by the shore of Lake Tuusulan, who have been able to wander the cold lawn of Jarvenpaa to the green grass of Jarvenpaa.

 

The 1978 Puistoblues remains the only one in history, when the entire main performance card has consisted of Finnish artists. However, the performers of the first festival were not musicians of yesterday's road. The names such as Pekka Rechardt and Nono Söderberg were and still belong to Finland's blues music chart. Since the first festival, at the end of June, Jarvenpaa has been able to come up with more skilled and charismatic artists. For example, the names: B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana and Lynyrd Skynyrd have certainly not left any blues music friend cold for years.
