About Phool walon ki sair

Phool Walon Ki Sair is a yearly festival held in Delhi by the bloom venders of the city and is sorted out by 'Anjuman Sair-e-Gul Faroshan' culture. The celebration is held soon after the storm season in the Delhi and is seen as an image of mutual concordance and blended culture in Delhi. The celebration is commended by the two Hindus and Muslims.

The inception of this celebration backpedals in history amid the Mughal period. Around then the British named Bahadurshah Zafar as the Mughal ruler. This made Mirza Jahangir, his relative irritated as he was being disregarded. To discharge his dissatisfaction, he shot the British Resident, Sir Archibald Seton.

Albeit uninjured Sir Archibald Seton without a moment's delay ousted him to Allahabad. Mirza Jahangir's mom made a promise that if her child comes back to Delhi, she would stroll from the tomb of Nizamuddin Auliya to Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki. Mirza Jahangir was absolved and his mom properly satisfied her pledge. This training is as yet proceeded with today as the Phool Walon Ki Sair.
