About Open mARTket 2.0 by The Broke Artists' Collective

There is a unique layout for the event: Each artist has paid something they are able to for their art to be printed! Irrespective of the quantity, every artist's work can be printed for the common of the total cash that is pooled in. The collective art may be bought on the basis that the consumer can 'Take what they love' and 'Pay what they prefer' at the center of the marketplace in the courtyard!

Each artist will even get a collective stall wherein they could sell their authentic artwork or restricted edition larger prints, and the cash made on the stall may be for the artist and the artist alone.

The cash from the collective pot will be disbursed similarly after returning the preliminary funding from all the artists! The unsold artistic endeavors from the collective can be used to create a web portal to sell art, and the money generated there could be used to make more prints until the collective raises sufficient cash to showcase a small organization of artists once every month on a bigger level!

Apart from visible arts, there can also be an open mic for musicians, poets, storytellers, arise and mime artists to have a good time overall performance art. A couple of exciting artwork workshops also are coated up for the day. Stay tuned to realize more.
