Nordic Music Days
About Nordic Music Days
The celebration Nordic Music Days, Nordiska musikdagar, has been orchestrated since 1888, and we are glad to state that it is one of the most established and all around regarded celebrations for contemporary traditional music on the planet. Our celebration is extraordinary in the regard that it is orchestrated by the authors themselves. Every year one of our individuals, the national social orders of authors, masterminds the celebration for the benefit of the Council of Nordic Composers, Nordiska komponistrådet. The Nordic staggering features spearheading contemporary arrangements by Nordic writers and sound specialists, performed by a portion of the UK's most energizing groups and soloists, close by a boundless program of talks, workshops and family occasions. All exhibitions and occasions are allowed to go to.
The all inclusive eminent contemporary traditional music celebration Nordic Music Days celebrates new Nordic music and was established in 1888 to advance melodic coordinated effort between the Nordic nations. Held every year in one of the Nordic capitals, Nordic Music Days will influence its UK to make a big appearance this year as a major aspect of Nordic Matters, Southbank Center's year-long investigation of expressions and culture from over the Nordic districts. The celebration acquaints UK groups of onlookers with the best contemporary Nordic music, supports joint effort amongst Nordic and UK artists and arrangers, and gives a stage to experimentation through a progression of workshops and exhibitions.
