Tourists travelling Stockholm inside the summer season may be captivated by means of its crisp Scandinavian mild past due into the evening. But for one summer season night time in August, darkness is one of the predominant ingredients of the annual Midnattsloppet The Midnight Run. In its 38 years, this is the largest walking occasion in the Swedish capital and a completely unique manner to experience Stockholm via night time.

 

Some 35,000 participants will lace up their strolling footwear, and whether or not you need to run with them or just enjoy the middle of the night madness from the sidelines, you’ll be in for a memorable night time. Anyone aged 14 or over can sign up for the 5km or 10km routes. Children under 12 can run the 5km route followed via an grownup. The price for signing up consists of a t-shirt, timing chip, strength liquids and chocolate bars.Besides the serious runners, there’s traditionally a masquerade group wherein runners dress up in humorous costumes, in opposition for the satisfactory gown prize and to make all of it extra colorful and amusing for the spectators who line the path.
