About Kajari Teej

Kajari Teej is one among the three vital Teej celebrations of India, the other two being 'Hariyali Teej' and 'Hartalika Teej'. The festivals of Kajari Teej begin fifteen days after the Hariyali Teej. It is seen on the 'tritiya' third day of the Krishna Paksha the dim fortnight of moon in the long stretch of 'Bhadrapada' according to the North Indian schedule while in the South Indian date-book it falls in the period of 'Shravana'. It typically comes three days after the festivals of 'Raksha Bandhan' and five days preceding 'Krishna Janmashtami'. Kajari Teej is additionally called as 'Badi Teej', 'Kajali Teej' and in a few districts it is likewise alluded as 'Satudi Teej'.
