From July 7 to July 14 the 47th period of Hindsgavl Festival happens. On July 7 the German Ascolta Ensemble performs Simon Steen-Andersen's acclaimed "Inszenierte Nacht", commended at its Danish debut by the commentator from Aarhus Stiftstidende as "extraordinary and fiercely astonishing". On July 9 Martin Stauning's pair "Der Sandmann" for violin and soprano will be debuted. The piece is one of ious debuts by Stauning this mid year. The most recent being Ensemble Modern'sperformance of Verdorrte Raume at this years Klang Festival. The commentator from the Danish daily paper Information depicted the piece with these positive words: "The exceptionally packed material in Martin Stauning's Verdorrte Raume hits us with incredible power.
Once in a while completes one experience a cutting edge piece in which the fixings are so few and relatively came down to a sort of focus." Hindsgavl Festival additionally introduces the Danish debut of Rune Glerup's Clarinet Quintet - as yet inclining toward Machine, which was effectively debuted not long ago in France by Quatour Diotima and the clarinetist Alain Billard.
