About FolkAND Andorra Folk Festival

 

From 13 to 15 April Andorra will host the “FolkAND Andorra Folk Festival”, a European folk dance event. This first edition will see the participation of the Andorran folk troupes and companies Valls del Nord from Ordino and La Massana, Laurèdia from Sant Julià de Loria and Grup de Folklore Casa de Portugal. In phrases of international representation, the organizations Sveta Nedejla from Croatia and Sofistik Jivom from Bulgaria may be taking component in this first edition. The united states’s colles geganteres  and the Castellers d’Andorra will also be making an appearance with the Bordegassos de Vilanova observed by way of the batucada Toca-te’ls.

 

Saturday 13 April:
17:00 Parade and dance alongside Avinguda Meritxell with the Gresca Gegantera d’Andorra la Vella.
18:00 Joint overall performance with the aid of the Castellers d’Andorra and the Bordegassos de Vilanova.
22:00 Performance at the Claror auditorium at the Centre Cultural i de Congressos Lauredia.

 

Sunday 14 April:
12:00 Parade and dance along Avinguda Carlemany.
Thirteen:00 Performance on the Centre Comercial Illa Carlemany.
14:30 Community lunch on the Centre Cultural i de Congressos Lauredia, with a performance by using the batucada Toca-te’ls
