About Filmfare Awards East
Filmfare Awards East is the East Indian section of the yearly Filmfare Awards, exhibited by The Times Group to respect the imaginative and realistic perfection in Bengali film industry, Assamese film industry and Odia film industry. The primary portion of the honors were held for Bengali, Assamese and Odia films in a service on March 29, 2014. The honor function was suspended for 2015 and , on the other hand proceeded from . The four classes for the two Odia and Assamese movies are Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. The victors would be chosen from 102 sections in Bengali movies, 36 and 14 passages individually from the Odia and Assamese movies.
Bengali film performer Prosenjit Chatterjee was available as the main visitor in that event. From that point two different question and answer sessions followed in Bhubaneswar on March 11 and Guwahati on March 14, 2014 within the sight of Odia film performer Anubhav Mohanty and Assamese film on-screen characters Kopil Bora and Zerifa Wahid separately. From the honor is offered just to Bengali film industry.
