The Feast of the Redeemer, which this year happens on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July 2019, is among the occasions most firmly felt by the Venetians, and reviews the finish of a horrible plague in 1577. A 330 meter long extension of vessels interfaces the territory to the Giudecca Island enabling you to visit the Basilica of Palladio, worked toward the finish of the plague.
Consistently, the third weekend of July, the city populace and numerous visitors from everywhere throughout the world celebrate for two days ceaselessly. Topical snapshots of these celebrations are the excellent firecrackers show on Saturday night and the regattas of conventional Venetian pontoons on Sunday.

SATURDAY, 20th July
7.00 pm - Opening of the votive extension that interfaces the Zattere with the Chiesa del Redentore to the Giudecca Island and introduction of the teams of the Venetian paddling regattas.
11.30 pm - Fireworks show in the San Marco Basin.
SUNDAY, 21st July
Regata Del Redentore - Giudecca trench.
7.00 pm - Votive Mass at the Church of the Redeemer on the island of Giudecca.
