About Bayou City Art Festival

The Bayou City Art Festival once the Westheimer Colony Art Festival is an expressions celebration held twice per year by the Art Colony Association in Houston, Texas. The celebration is held in Memorial Park in the spring and in Downtown Houston in the fall. The Art Colony Association began in 1971, when it was known as the Westheimer Colony Association. An aggregate exertion of Lower Westheimer organizations framed an expressions and specialties assembling as a major aspect of a beautification of the area, where the Westheimer Colony Art Festival was conceived.
