A school leavers celebration The East Wings is the first-ever region event in Primorsky kray which is dedicated a high-school graduation. More than 20 thousand people take a part in the celebration: school leavers, their parents, Vladivostok citizens and guests. The place for the celebration is Tsesarevich embankment. It is a popular place of citizens’ time off in Vladivostok downtown. It was built on the reconstructed territory of ex-military ship repair enterprise. The program of the celebration has two major parts. A concert program which includes performances of local entertainers and popular singers.
A spectacular light show in Zolotoy Rog bay. Zolotoy Bridge, a floating dock, water screens and sailing ship are parts of the show. The East Wings light show is a unique difficult big project for the region. It is the record show for Russia in terms of area of an illumination 220 light devices and 25.5 km of switching was used for Zolotoy bridge design. The biggest in Europe water screens are used for the show. Frigate Pallada is a part of the show too. Pallada is a world speed record holder for A-grade sailing vessels. The school leaver’s celebration The East Wings was in TOP-3 Yandex search requests among Russia Far East residents in 2018. The name of the holiday was chosen by region citizens on the Internet among 279 options.
