Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Chandigarh – Narkanda

Upon arrival at Chandigarh railway station or airport our special vehicle will pick you up & proceed to Narkanda. Arrival at Narkanda check in to the hotel get freshen up. Overnight stay at Narkanda.

Day 2 : Narkanda – Sangla

After breakfast proceed to Narkanda 2165 mts. We drive via many small towns such as: • Nirth, Rampur through Satluj Valley. At Nirth, there is an old temple, dedicated to Sun God which is said to be built by the great sage Parshuram . And Dutt Nagar is known for its archaeological importance. • Sarahan is a small but beautiful village in which is situated the historical Bhima Kali Temple, known for its wooden architecture. This temple is believed to be 1500 years old. • One can enjoy the view of Shrikhand range of mountains in the background of the town. Sangla is about 95 km from Sarahan at an altitude of 2680 mts. It takes 4 to 5 hrs. Overnight stay at Sangla

Day 3 : Sangla Excursion Baspa Valley and Drive – Kalpa

After breakfast proceed to Sangla or Baspa valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal Here we visit the beautiful village of Baspa Valley such as Chitkul 3450 mts – the route in this stretch is very narrow and steep till Chitkul, the last and highest village in Baspa Valley. It is situated on the Right Bank of Baspa Valley; there is a temple dedicated to local Goddess, Mathi, which is said to have been constructed some 500 years ago. The location of Rackcham – another village in Baspa Valley is striking as rocky cliffs of granite rocks and forests surround it. • Kamru Temple and fort in Kamru Village situated on a top of Sangla Village. The whole day is spending visiting all these beautiful villages and meeting their beautiful inhabitants. Later proceed to Kalpa via Recongpeo. Kalpa provides the best view of the Kinner Kailash peak. Overnight stay at Kalpa

Day 4 : Kalpa – Nako

After breakfast proceed to Nako and drive all along the River Satluj till Khab, the meeting point of the Spiti and Satluj River. 5 kms from Khab on a village road one can get to Namgia, the last Village on the Indian side, it houses an ancient monastery. • Next part of the trip is through zigzags along Spiti River. Around 7 Kms. of side trip on a metalled link road takes one to Nako 2950Mts. is situated about 2 km from Hangrang valley road on the Western direction of the huge mountain of Pargil. This is the highest and the largest village in the valley on the Left Bank of river Spiti. It is encircled on every side by high hills, which is a witness to the presence of former lake. The village is under the influence of Buddhism, but there are Hindu local deities too namely Gyalbo, Dabla and Yalso. To the north of the village is the monastic complex of four large temples; belonging to the Dugpa order. The complex is called Locha – Lhakhang i. e. Lhostaba, Lhakhang after the great Rin – Chen Zangpo besides these temples on the South West are almost un distinguishable heaps of ruined monks cells and few chhortens stupas. Day 5 : Nako – Kaza

Driving along the Spiti River we pass through ious villages to get to Kaza. • Tabo Monastery - Tabo 3050 Mts monastery is the seat of Buddhist learning, the Gompa is regarded as next in significance to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet. The Tabo monastery was established about 1000 years ago and was a part of Western Tibet School that originally designed different Mandala’s in the form of the statues hanging on the walls of the monasteries. However 800 years ago with the arrival of Guru Padmasambhava in Tibet and with the instructions of his new sect, old philosophy of Western Tibet School was lost and their unique philosophical practices almost died. Now Tabo is only living monastery outside Tibet, depicting similar Mandalas on the walls of the Dukhang. Overnight stay at Kaza

Day 6 : Kaza local sightseeing Villages of Langja, Hikkim – Komik

After breakfast proceed to visit: • Langza – Komic – Hikkim are the offbeat places around Kaza in Spiti Valley which can be easily explored in a day at an easy pace. Langza village is located about 14 KMs away from Kaza, at an altitude of 4330 Meters. Langza is popularly known for hunting marine fossils and breathtaking view of Chau Chau Kang Nelda peak sitting on top of the village. If you are fond of fossils, you can hike a bit higher around Langza village, • Komic village, at an altitude of about 4600 Mtrs, is popularly known as the village housing the highest motorable monastery in the world, the Tangyud Monastery. Komic is about 10 KMs further from Langza village. Tangyud Monastery in Komic village is one of the two monasteries belonging to the Sakya sect left in Spiti Valley. • Hikkim village, at an altitude of about 4440 Mtrs, is about 4 KMs from Komic and about 16 KMs from Kaza. Hikkim village is popularly known for the highest post office in the world and the highest polling station of the world. Overnight stay at Kaza.

Day 7 : Kaza – Kibber

: After breakfast proceed Key Monastery • Key Monastery is a famous Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Lahaul and Spiti District of India. Located at an altitude of 4, 166 metres above the sea level, the monastery is very close to the Spiti River in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh in India. Also known as the Kye Monastery, it is believed to have been founded by Dromton, who was a student of the famous teacher Atisha in the 11th century. The Key Monastery is over a thousand years old, and apart from being the oldest, it is also the largest monastery that can be found in the entire Spiti Valley. The magnificent monastery doubles up as a religious training centre for the Lamas, and about 300 lamas receive their education from here. It has a long and quite fascinating history that is attached to it: a long history that involves numerous attacks that the place had to face. Nevertheless, the monastery survived and celebrated the completion of its thousand years in the year 2000 in the presence of Dalai Lama. Today, the Key Monastery is visited not only by locals but also by tourists from all parts of the country who come looking for it in order to seek quietude, silence and inner tranquility • Khyipur, Kibber is situated at an altitude of 4205m above sea level is one of the highest villages in the world. One can spend a day at the rest houses here, with the mountains watching over. There isn't much to do, but the sceneries and landscapes around you, as well as the altitude will keep you fascinated. At a little distance from Kibber is Gette, the highest village in the world at a height of 4270 mt above sea level. Visit this village just to witness a settlement at this altitude and its overwhelming surroundings. Overnight stay at Kaza

Day 8 : Kaza – Chandertal

Over Kunzum Pass 90 Km 4 Hrs. • Chandertal - The first sight of this wondrous lake takes ones breaths away, with its shores ringed with meadows carpeted with hundreds of ieties of alpine flowers. An excellent campsite surrounded by the massive mountain tops and the glacier at Chandertal. Overnight stay at Chandertal

Day 9 : Chandertal lake – Manali

Today we will make an early start as it is the long day journey driving to Manali. On the way we will stop for breakfast at Chandertal lake Camp, Today we will cross High Mountain passes and also visit: • The temple on the pass where travelers say prayers before heading down the pass. • The Passes provides beautiful views of CB ranges and Glaciers. • Later on we will continue our journey over the Rohtang pass 3, 980 meters / 13058 feet and enter Kullu valley. We will reach Manali in the evening and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 10 : Manali - Delhi

Manali Explore the market and evening drop at Volvo bus. Overnight journey to Delhi
