Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive into Berlin Begin your ‘Shine Eastern Europe’ tour

Welcome to Berlin - capital of Germany. On arrival check into your hotel on your own, Contact the BOLBOM Tour Manager at the number given on your Tour Information Sheet. After a long journey you can freshen up and relax in your hotel room. Overnight at the hotel in Berlin.

Day 2 : Guided City Tour of Berlin Visit to the Alexander Platz Guided City Tour of Dresden

After a continental breakfast, we proceed on a guided city tour of Berlin. See the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate-located in no-man’s land between East and West Germany, the restored Reichstag - the German Parliament Building and the 210 foot Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten Park. Visit Check-Point Charlie – the former border crossing point between East and West Berlin where Soviet and American tanks stood face to face, after the construction of the wall in 1961. We also drive along the Unter Den Linden Boulevard- Berlin’s most beautiful avenue and pass the State Opera House. Next, we visit the Alexander Platz, where stands the World Time Clock and the Fountain of Friendship. Later, we travel southwest to Dresden, the old capital of Saxony, It is situated in a valley on the River Elbe. At one time rightly called the “Florence on the Elbe”. Upon arrival, Semper Opera House - the only theater in Germany that bears the name of its architect, which was completely destroyed in 1945 and reopened in 1985 after extensive reconstruction. We also see the Frauenkirche, erected between 1726 and 1743, following the designs of George Bähr. Its characteristic dome, called the “stone bell” owing to its shape, collapsed on February 15th, 1945 under the rain of bombs. Overnight at the hotel in Dresden

Day 3 : Onto Prague Guided City Tour of Prague

After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Prague. On arrival we proceed on a guided city tour of Prague. We start our tour from the 1000-year-old Hradcany Castle, the former residence of the Bohemian kings and St. Vitus Cathedral. Walk down from the Palace to Charles Bridge, founded in 1357 by Charles IV. Both ends of the bridge are fortified by towers (the Lesser Town Bridge Towers and the Old Town Bridge Tower). We also visit the Old Town Square with its Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. The Astronomical Clock is one of the outstanding sights of Prague. The dial is poised with three main components: the astronomical dial that displays various astronomical details as well as representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky. “The Walk of the Apostles”, showcases the movement of the figures of Twelve Apostles passing along the two windows in every hour of daylight; and a calendar dial that rotates and gives the description of each and every day of the year with an indication of the current date at the top, the medallions with zodiac signs describing every month. Day 4 : Orientation Tour of Bratislava Onto Budapest

After a continental breakfast, we check-out of the hotel and drive to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. On arrival, we proceed on an orientation tour of Bratislava, where we visit the Old Town, with its Roland Fountain in the square. You have some free time to soak in the atmosphere of this medieval city, with its side-walk cafes. Later, we proceed to Budapest - capital of Hungary. Overnight at the hotel in Budapest

Day 5 : Guided City Tour of Budapest Visit to the Fisherman’s Bastion Hungarian Horsemanship show Evening Cruise on Danube River

After a continental breakfast, we proceed on a guided city tour of Budapest. See the Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, built upon the request of Count István Széchenyi between 1839 and 1849, the Parliament, Heroes’ Square, the capital’s most spectacular square with the column of the Millennium Memorial, on the top of which archangel Gabriel is holding the Holy Crown and the apostolic double cross and Andrassy Avenue with its outstandingly beautiful Opera House.
Budapest is said to be the only real Danube capital as the river fl ows right through the middle of the city. The bridges, the Parliament building and the Royal Palace give Budapest an unparalleled atmosphere. Visit Fisherman’s Bastion for amazing views of the Danube. Later, we drive to Hungarian countryside to see the Famous Hungarian Horsemanship show. In the evening, enjoy the river views during a romantic evening cruise on the Danube. Day 6 : Onto Vienna Guided City Tour of Vienna Visit the Schonbrunn Palace

After a continental breakfast, we check-out and drive to Vienna - capital of Austria. Upon arrival, proceed on a guided city tour of Vienna. We drive on the Ring Boulevard and see the State Opera House, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burg theater. We also make a photo stop at the Hourg-former winter residence of the Habsburg family and the Belvedere Palace-former summer residence of Prince Eugene. Also see the Hundertwasserhaus, an apartment house designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It features undulating floors “an uneven floor is a melody to the feet”, a roof covered with earth and grass, and large trees growing from inside the rooms, with limbs extending from windows. Later, we visit the Schonbrunn Palace (the former summer residence of the Habsburg family). Schönbrunn Palace was not only an imperial residence and the setting for countless festivities, but also a place where famous artists and craftsmen from many different epochs created interiors of great beauty. All the rooms in the palace have their own stories to tell, stories on the margins of great historical events which are indicative of the lifestyle, atmosphere and world view of the imperial era. Day 7 : Day Trip to Salzburg with a Guided City Tour

After a continental breakfast, we proceed on a day trip to Salzburg. Upon arrival, we start our guided walking tour of this elegant baroque city. Salzburg, full of green hills, romantic gardens and breathtaking valleys. is a picturesque city with small alleys, quaint colorful town homes, rich castles and palaces, neat gardens and a high density of churches and monasteries. See the birthplace of the legendary Mozart, the Mirabell Palace with its landscaped gardens and the Cathedral in the old town. Stroll along the Aldstadt, which was recently granted World Heritage Status by UNESCO. Later, we drive back to Vienna. Overnight at the hotel in Vienna

Day 8 : Drive to Zagreb Guided City Tour of Zagreb

After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to Zagreb - capital of Croatia. On arrival, we proceed on a guided city tour and see the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre & St. Mark’s church with multi coloured roof and more. Overnight at the hotel in Zagreb

Day 9 : Guided City Tour of Ljubljana Guided Tour of Lake Bled Cruise on Lake Bled

After a continental breakfast, we check out and drive to Ljubljana - the capital city of Slovenia. On arrival proceed on a guided city tour. See the Congress square, Prešeren Square, the magnificent Town Hall, and the nearby Robba’s Fountain that dominates the elegant Town Square. Continue our journey to Lake Bled which often described as an “Image of Paradise”for its breathtaking beauty for centuries in Slovenia.The 2120 meters long and up to 1380 meters wide Lake Bled was formed due to the recession of the Bohinj glacier. After the last Ice Age, the Bohinj glacier which deepened the natural tectonic hollow and gave into its present form. Day 10 : Visit Postojna Caves Orientation Tour of Venice

Later, we drive to Venice. On arrival, we proceed on an orientation tour of Venice.
