Manali is known to be the valley of the Hindu god, ‘Manu’, Manali is a popular hill station located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s average altitude of 2,050 meters above sea level in the Beas River Valley at the northern end of the Kullu District.
Manali’s popularity as a hill station rose due to the rise of militant incidences in Kashmir as an alternative hill town retreat. In ancient times, Manali was inhabited by nomadic hunters and shepherds who came here from the Kangra Valley. We will visit the best places in Manali. Hadimba Devi Temple: The temple is dedicated to the Rakshasa Hidimba who was also the wife of the Pandava Bhima. The temple structure was built in an architectural style that one employed in the Buddhist monasteries. The structure is made primarily of wood and 70 meters from the temple also lays the temple dedicated to Ghatotkacha, the son of Bhima and Hidimba and a hero of the Mahabharatha war.

The views from the point are magnificent and give views to snow capped peaks and glaciers.
Rahalla falls: It’s about 16 km from Manali at the starting point of the amazing Rohtang Pass, Rahala Falls is a popular picnic spot in Manali.
Nehru Kund: Nehru Kund is said to be a source natural cold water spring that originates from the Brighu River. The springs are located 5 Kilometers from Manali on the national highway to Leh towards Keylong. The place is apparently named after Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who was said to quench his thirst from this very spring whenever he visited Manali. Night stay at Manali.
