Day wise Itinerary
Day 1 : Start from Delhi

We shall meet at the airport/railway station and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi before we start the journey to one of the most amazing terrains in the world.

Day 2 : Delhi To Shimla Sightseeing

. Shimla is one of the most visited tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh and it’s beyond comparison. No wonder it is called the Queen of Hill Stations.

The combinations of Chilled mountain air, orchards and colonial charms still makes Shimla a dream get away. Here are some leading attractions of Shimla which a vividly a part of every tourist’s list of tourist places in Shimla. Here are the few Jakhoo Hill, The Ridge, The Shimla State Museum, Summer Hill, Daranghati Sanctuary, Indian Institute Of Advanced Study, Annandale, Naldehra And Shaily Peak, Chadwick Falls and Kufri.

Day 3 : Shimla Kufri Sightseeing

We will visit the places like Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stain windows of Christ Church, which was built in the 1850’s. In the afternoon we shall take a 30 minutes drive to Kufri. It’s located 19 kms away from Shimla surrounded by dense forest and snow mountains. Let’s also experience the enchanting views of Fagu. Rest of the day is free for you to explore various scenic sights or visit mall road and shopping. We will stay tonight in Shimla.

Day 4 : Shimla-Manali

Today we will drive to Manali in the morning as another amazing destination awaits us. Manali is known to be the valley of the Hindu god, ‘Manu’, Manali is a popular hill station located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s average altitude of 2,050 meters above sea level in the Beas River Valley at the northern end of the Kullu District.

Manali’s popularity as a hill station rose due to the rise of militant incidences in Kashmir as an alternative hill town retreat. In ancient times, Manali was inhabited by nomadic hunters and shepherds who came here from the Kangra Valley. Places to visit in Manali comprises Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashist Bath, Tibetan Monastery, and Roerich art Gallery , Naggar Castle and local Bazar. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 5 : Manali Sightseeing

We will visit the best places in Manali. Hadimba Devi Temple: The temple is dedicated to the Rakshasa Hidimba who was also the wife of the Pandava Bhima. The temple structure was built in an architectural style that one employed in the Buddhist monasteries. The structure is made primarily of wood and 70 meters from the temple also lays the temple dedicated to Ghatotkacha, the son of Bhima and Hidimba and a hero of the Mahabharatha war.

We will also visit Vashist Bath, Tibetan Monastery, and Roerich art Gallery. In the afternoon half day tour of Naggar Castle and local Bazar. Night stay in Manali.

Day 6 : Manali Sightseeing

Rohtang Pass: It lies at an altitude of 3,978 meters above sea level and located in the eastern hills of the Pir Panjal Range. The pass lies at a picturesque location with the rivers Beas and Chenab that lies to the southern and northern side of Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is famous for its views of the valley and various hidden waterfalls. Rohtang Pass is a must visit on your trip Kullu-Manali.

* Note: You will have to hire a local taxi as Delhi taxis are not allowed in Rohtang pass.

Solang Valley: Solang valley is also known as the ‘Snow Point’ and is famous for hosting various winter adventure sports like skiing, parachuting and paragliding etc. The Solang Valley is located at an average altitude of 2,560 meters above sea level and is also one of the favorite trekking hotspots in the region. The views from the point are magnificent and give views to snow capped peaks and glaciers.

Rahalla falls: It’s about 16 km from Manali at the starting point of the amazing Rohtang Pass, Rahala Falls is a popular picnic spot in Manali.

Nehru Kund: Nehru Kund is said to be a source natural cold water spring that originates from the Brighu River. The springs are located 5 Kilometers from Manali on the national highway to Leh towards Keylong. The place is apparently named after Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who was said to quench his thirst from this very spring whenever he visited Manali. Night stay at Manali.

Day 7 : Manali - Dharamshala

We will drive to Dharamshala today. It’s another popular tourist destination of Himachal Pradesh. On arrival we will transfer you to hotel. Overnight at Dharamshala.

Day 8 : Dharamshala Sightseeing

We will have an amazing tour today visiting the best places in Dharamshala. Official residence of Dalai Lama the exiled Tibetan Leader, McLeodganj Palampur.

McLeodganj: The place is known for its various attractions including the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama. The place is one of the most frequented spots in Dharamshala and is famous for its Tibetan culture, handicrafts and temples. The Hanuman Tibba is the highest peak at the height of 5,639 meters above sea level and can be viewed from McLeod Ganj. McLeod Ganj is named after Sir Donald Friell McLeod who was the Lieutenant-Governor of Punjab under whom the area was developed.

Day 9 : Dharamshala to Dalhousie

We will drive to Khajjiar also called the Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh and serves as the starting point for treks to Chamba, Dalhousie and Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary among others. Khajjiar is a popular hill station about 26 km from Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh. One of the 160 places in the world that bear tropical resemblance to Switzerland, Indeed, trekking is the best way to explore Khajjiar is one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. Overnight at Dalhousie.

Day 10 : Dalhousie to Chandigarh

We will drive to Chandigarh today. Upon arival, we will help you check into your hotel. Overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 11 : Chandigarh to Delhi

We will drive to see the best places in Chandigarh before we drive back to Delhi to conlude this tour.

Rock Garden: It is situated between the capital complex and Sukhna lake in Sector1 and spreads across 20acres of woods in the form of an open air exhibition hall, theatre trove and a miniature maze. It’s one vast fantasy land of art and landscape comprising art objects, fashioned from industrial and urban waste.

The entrance leading to a magnificent arrangement of rocks, boulders, broken chinaware, discarded fluorescent tubes, broken and cast away glass bangles, building waste, soldiers, monkeys, village life, women and temples. It has a small but very artistic and naturalistic open air theatre and had been staging several prestigious performances. It’s a favorite tourist spot and is a must see in your list of places to see in Chandigarh.

Sukhna Lake: Sukhna Lake is a beautiful lake spreading a 3 km long lake that was created in the year 1958. Do you know that Sukhna lake is a manmade lake which is a seasonal stream flowing down from the Shivalik hills.

It serves as a great picnic spot and an apt place for pursuing water sport activities like boating, yachting and water skiing etc. The atmosphere here is very serene and amazing for meditatin and if you want to rejuvenate yourself, then Sukhna Lake is the perfect destination for you.
