This magnificent Vaishnavite temple was erected during the first half of the 18th century. Dedicated to Lord Govinda and Radha, this temple stands adjacent to the former palace of the erstwhile ruler of Manipur.
On Day 2 of the tour, visit the well-known Keibul Lamjao National Park, famed as the World’s only floating national park that is also home Sangai- the endangered dancing species of a deer. Thereafter, you continue the city tour of Imphal including Kangal Fort. Placed close to the right bank of the River Imphal, this palace holds religious, historical as well as archeological significance. The next visit is to the Ima Market, a market which is run by women. You can shop for household stuff, handloom, handicrafts and much more. The last visit of the day is to the World War II cemetery. Overnight stay.
