After the breakfast we spend the day sightseeing Old Delhi. You start at the Red Fort (Lal Qila). Shah Jahan started the construction in 1638 when he shifted its capital from Agra to New Delhi and the construction finished in 1648. The fort is enclosed by rubble walls with Bastian gates. Next up is Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi in India. Commissioned by Shah Jahan in 1650 the construction was completed in 1656 in typical Mughal style with two minarets and three domes.The visit to the tomb is followed by a visit to Raj Ghat, a memorial to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, The Swami Narayan Temple and the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. You pause for lunch and resume our tour with a visit to is the Humayun Tomb, a Tomb which is the first distinct example of the Mughal style inspired by Persian lifestyle. The tomb proper stands in the center of a square garden which is divided into four main parterres by causeways. The construction of the Tomb was began by Hamida Banu Begum Humayun's wife and designed by MirakMirza, a Persian architect.
After an early breakfast you drive to the city of Taj Mahal: Agra. Immediately after arrival move into the hotel. Relax and freshen up for a tour of the city in the afternoon.First on the menu is the Agra Fort, situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and 2.5 km of the Taj Mahal the fort was built by Akbar after accession to power in 1564. The fort served both as a military strategic point as well as the royal residence. The fort contains splendid palaces both in red and white Sandstones and white marbles built by two generations of Mughal builders
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (4:5 hours)
After breakfast you head to the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur named after the former ruler SawaiMansingh.En route to the Pink city we visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. The City served as the capital of Mughal Empire from 1571:1585. Here practically, all Mughal institutions such as the Ibadat:Khanah, Din:i:Ilahi and Tarikh:i:Ilahi were founded. Today the city is in ruins. Upon arrival in Jaipur you check into the hotel.You spend a night in Jaipur.
After breakfast at the hotel head to the majestic Amber Fort. To get to the hill on which the fort is situated an elephant or a jeep ride is taken.The fort situated on a hill is one of the major tourist attractions of the state. It is a fascinating blend of Mughal Architecture, construct by Raja Mann Singh in 1592 and completed by Sawai Jai Singh, the fort is made out of red sand stone and white marble.Later on visit the City palace, the observatory and photo stop near the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Located in the heart of the city the City Palace is a real blend of Mughal and Rajasthani Architecture and itis also the residence of the royal family.
