Day 04: Mahabalipuram
Mahabalipuram Start a daylong guided tour of Mamallapuram including the Caves, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas, Shore temple and Arjunas Penance. It is the perfect place to see the ancient Pallava architecture in South India. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Mahabalipuram - Tiruvannamalai - Pondicherry

Day 06: Pondicherry
PondicherryPondicherry is one of the finest attractions of India. It is also called as French Colony. Today visit the Aurobindo Ashram which is the major tourist attraction of Pondicherry. Sri Aurobindo Ghose, a noted freedom fighter, philosopher and poet founded this Ashram in 1926. The other sightseeing points in Pondicherry are Auroville, Promenade, the temples, Botanical Garden and the Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Kumbakonam - Thanjavur
Natraj TempleAfter having breakfast leave Pondicherry for Thanjavur stopping en - route at Chidambaram to visit Natraja temple, Annamalai University and Kali temple. Also visit Adi Kumbheswarar Temple, Nageswara Swami Temple and Someswarar Temple at Kumbakonam. Arrive Thanjavur and check in at hotel. Day 08: Thanjavur - Trichy

The main attraction of Tanjore is Sri Brahadeeswarar Temple a thousand years old temple. In the afternoon, you would be transferred to Trichy (Thiruchirappalli). Day 09: Trichy - Chettinadu
ChettinaduAfter breakfast, take a guided tour of Rock fort located on Kaveri Rivers bank which one of the oldest monument of the world 3800 million years approximately, Srirangam and Tiruvanaikkaval. Later transfer further to Chettinadu it is a picturesque heritage village in Tamilnadu. On arrival, check in to the Chettinadu Mansion a magnificent building. Day 11: Madurai - Periyar
Periyar National ParkHave breakfast and leave Munnar for Periyar National Park (Thekkady) through a picturesque route. Arrive at Periyar, check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, take a boat ride over Lake Periyar to see the rich wildlife. Periyar Tiger Reserve or Periyar National Park is spread in an area of 777 square KMS. It is a quite rich, diverse deciduous jungle, combined with the open area of the tall grass. The Lake Periyar is an artificial fabulous lake scattered with dull woods snags that offers as the perch to water birds, grey heron, darter, kingfisher and egret. Periyar is one of the best places to see the wild Asiatic elephants.

Periyar National ParkDuring the day take morning and afternoon boat rides over Lake Periyar. Also take a spice plantation tour with an expert guide. Stay overnight at a jungle resort.

Day 13: Periyar - Munnar
Munnar TourIn the morning, you would be transferred to the highest place of Kerala Munnar (1524 meters) visiting spice and tea plantations on the way. Munnar has bracing and cool climate displaying the charm of an old world. The environment out here is perfumed having extensive plantations of cardamom and tea. In Munnar, one may witness charming high mountain ranges, beautiful lakes, streams and fabulous views of the mist full valleys and low lying clouds.
Day 15: Munnar - Cochin

Day 16: Cochin
CochinAfter having breakfast, start a daylong sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi including Dutch Palace: this palace was constructed in 1555 AD by the Portuguese rulers and offered to the king of Kochi. The 17th of century murals portrayed scenes from the Ramayana an epic of India may be witnessed here. Also take a tour of St. Francis Cathedral, it was originally built in 1510 AD by the Portuguese and is considered as the first church made in India by the Europeans. Vasco Da Gama was buried out here originally. Later visit Chinese fishing net: this may be looked from the entrance of the Cochin harbor. The techniques of catching the fish were told by Chinese through business contacts. Along with the back water, these Chinese nets are a charming sight. Take a short tour of Jewish Synagogue.
Day 17: Cochin - Alleppey - Houseboat

Day 18: Houseboat - Alleppey - Kovalam
