Once you arrive in Delhi, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- you can explore the nearby surroundings on foot, gorge on street food, interact with the locals etc. Overnight in Delhi.
After breakfast, the second day of the tour is for visiting the popular tourist attractions of Delhi including the Akshardham Temple a newly built Hindu temple complex where you can enjoy boat ride watching a documentary on Indian heritage. After lunch, visit the Qutub Minar complex, Purana Qila, India Gate and then Red fort where you attend a light and sound show. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
On day 3, after breakfast, get transferred to the railway station to board a train for Haridwar. On arrival, meet an IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked resort. The day is at leisure- visit the well-known temples, take a dip in the holy water of river Ganga, enjoy eating local renditions etc. The evening is scheduled for attending the mesmerizing evening Aarti at Har-ki-Paudi, a popular ghat in Haridwar. Dinner and night stay at the resort.
Begin your day 4 with a 2-hour Yoga session. Your breakfast will also be light as per the guidelines of your instructor. After Yoga session and breakfast, leave the hotel for sightseeing. The first visit of the day is an ancient temple, Daksha Temple, popular as the Shiva temple. Next in line is a visit to Shivlingam, a solidified mercury shivlingam. The evening is scheduled for another Yoga session. Later, enjoy a stroll around Har- ki -Pauri. Stay Overnight.
The morning is for a yoga session. Post yogic breakfast, leave for visiting the Chandi Devi temple, located on a hilltop. To go up to the hill, you can either opt for a trek of 3 hours or can opt for the cable car ride. Once on the top, enjoy a mesmerizing view of the Haridwar town. The afternoon is for a book reading session where you get to know more about Yoga and Ayurveda. The evening is scheduled for Yoga session and a leisure walk. Dinner and overnight in resort.
On the 6th day of the tour, post Yoga session have breakfast. Later, leave for exploring wildlife in the Rajaji National Park. You can spot wildlife species like tigers, elephants, leopards, deer and ghorals, during the safari. This national park is a paradise for bird lovers as it houses as many as 400 species of birds. Later, in the day, meet the inhabitants of Gujjars, a local tribe. Interact with them and observe their lifestyle. In the evening, enjoy a Yoga session at the resort. Relax your tired self. Enjoy light dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Yoga session in the morning. Post breakfast, enjoy a special session with yoga experts who helps you in gaining more knowledge about yoga and meditation. Afternoon of day 7 is an interesting one. Enjoy a meeting an astrologer who helps you in solving your future related queries. The evening is scheduled for visiting the local market to shop for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay.
Post yoga session and breakfast, depart by road for Rishikesh, well-known for its yoga-meditation ashrams as well as temples. On arrival, check-in your rafting camp near the banks of river Ganga. Later, explore the place on foot. Back in the evening for dinner around bonfire and an overnight stay.
Begin day 9 with a yoga session. Post breakfast, enjoy river rafting in Ganga. Rafting in Rishikesh is counted as one of the most difficult ones. During rafting, cross the rapids up to grade III on a stretch of around 18 kms. Spend the afternoon sunbathing at your river camp. Dinner around bonfire at the camp and an overnight stay.
