Start your journey from Delhi to the historical and romantic city of Agra. En route visit Sikandara - the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Thereafter, proceed to visit Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Next, you will visit the Agra Fort containing the royal residential palaces, the halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens. Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore to explore the wildlife. On arrival in Ranthambore, check-in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel in Ranthambore.
Early morning visit the national park and enjoy wildlife safari on jeep and elephants. Try spotting the elusive Indian tigers here. Visit the Ranthambore Fort situated inside the tiger reserve. Deer, jackals, rabbits, wild boars and many other animals are found in this national park. Return to the hotel and have lunch. After lunch, enjoy an exhilarating jungle safari inside the wildlife sanctuary and have fun spotting wild animals and exotic birds. Also see the three major lakes in this area which serve as watering holes for the animals that inhabit this park. Stay overnight at hotel in Ranthambore.
After having breakfast, proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur, check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring this vibrant and colourful city.
After having a good beakfast, go for sightseeing in Jaipur which will include Amber Fort. Also, visit the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amber. (Pay directly for your elephant ride or for the jeep ride up to the fort). En route enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the palace of wind. Later, visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings. Finally, visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II.
