Drive to Bikaner, one of the most interesting centres of Indian art. The present city was founded in 1488 by a Rajput of the Rathore Clan. Visit the Junagarh Fort started 1587 AD, one of the few unconquered forts. It contains temples, palaces and pavilions of great refinement, the Anup Mahal, Ganga Niwas Durbar Hall, Har Mandir, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Karan Mahal, Phool Mahal and Chandra Mahalare some of the places worth visiting inside the fort. Morning sight-seeing of Jaisalmer. Visiting the fort inner enclosure are a group of finely carved Jain temples dating to the 12th and 15th centuries AD. Morning visit the Jagdish Temple and continue on to the City Palace, with its carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars.
