Afterhaving your breakfast, visit Elephanta Caves (An hours boat ride across Mumbai Harbour. will take you to these beautifully carved Elephanta Caves that date back to the 8th century.) Later, take a city tour , visiting 'Gateway of India', the 'Towers of Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' ( the commercial heart of the city) and the Dhobi Ghat,( the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'.) Also visit the Malabar Hil, 'Hanging Gardens' and the Kamla Nehru Park. Later you go to Mani Bhawan, (a museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi) Also shop at Crawford Market. On day 3, go to Aurangabad by train or flight. On arrival, you will be picked up from Railway station/ Airport and get assisted transfer to the hotel. Take a city tour in the afternoon, visiting Bibi-Ka-Muqbara, Aurangabad Caves and Daulatabd Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today is booked for a morning visit Ellora Caves which is 30 kms from Aurangabad. These rock cut cave temples of Ellora (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainis,)came up in 10th and 11th century. out of the 34 caves, the most amazing is Kailasa temple with intricate architecture which took 100 years to get built.After the visit, drive back to the hotel. Now drive to Ajanta Caves , around 30 caves which date back to 2nd century BC and 7th century AD(100 kms, 2 hours, towards northeast of Aurangabad in the Waghora valley). These Buddhist caves, are a combination of three forms of Art - architecture sculpture and painting. After this, you wil get transferred to Jalgaon Railway Station for catching a train to Bhopal. On reaching, get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay. (Ajanta caves are closed on Mondays)

Once you have your breakfast, you are driven to Patna. On the way, you can visit Gridhakuta Hill and Bimbisara Jail in Rajgir. Now move forward to Nalnada (14 kms from Rajgir). It was one of the oldest Universities in the world and International Centre for Buddhist studies. Arrive in Patna. After lunch, take atour of the city visiting Har Mandir Sahib (Patna Sahib the place where the 10th Guru of the Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh was born in 1666); Golghar (a large dome-like structure from where one can have bird seye view of the Ganga and the city surroundings); Patna Museum -(vastcollection of Mauryan and Buddhist sculptures, terracotta and other items . Start your drive to Kushinagar, once you arrive,. check - in at hotel. Later, go to the Rambhar Stupa - (Lord Buddha's cremation ground),Mahaparinirvana temple - (has a lying down figure of Lord Buddha). An overnight stay at the hotel.
Today halfday is booked for sightseeing of Lumbini. Later you are Transferred to the airport in order to catch a flight for Kathmandu. Get assisted transfer to the hotel on arrivall for an overnight stay.

A short drive will take you to Boudhanath ( the worlds largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the Buddhist). Proceed towards Kathmandu Durbar Square (the temple of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. Lasltly, pay a visit Kasthamandup ( a temple built from a single tree from which the Kathmandu derives its name). Staying overnight at the hotel.
