A traditional welcome awaits you on your arrival at Delhi. You are transferred to your hotel where you can rest for some time. You are then taken on a sightseeing tour to New and Old Delhi that may include Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Jama Masjid, Parliament House, Gandhi memorial, etc. Stay overnight.
On day 2 after breakfast, depart for Jaipur- the Pink City, the capital of the state of Rajasthan. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Take in the sights in and around Jaipur, including a halt at the Amer Fort where you enjoy an elephant ride. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After breakfast, you visit the remaining attraction of Jaipur. Begin the day with a visit the magnificent City Palace, the enchanting Hawa Mahal and the Astronomical Observatory, the Jantar Mantar, belonging to the 18th century. After this, leave for the Ranthambore National Park, a famous wildlife reserve of the county which is the largest one too. Once you reach your destination, you can relax at the resort set in the wilderness of the Park. Stay overnight
The 4th day of the tour is for a full day safari trips in the park to watch wildlife up close. During your safari, you may spot animal and bird species such as tiger, Sambar deer, Indian wild boar, Hulman, Spotted deer, Longeared Hedgehogs, Ratels, and Small Indian Mongoose etc. Stay overnight in the resort.
Today you get transferred to the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary, also known as Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. This paradise for bird lovers is a World Heritage Site, which is home to thousands of bird species in summers and 230 species otherwise. On arrival, check into your jungle lodge. Indulge in bird watching and wildlife spotting where you may spot Painted Stork, Great Egret, Common Parakeet, Sambar, Wild boar, Jackals, etc. Stay overnight in Bharatpur.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, on day 6 you begin the much anticipated leg of visiting the historic city of Agra. On the way, you halt for visiting the breathtaking Fatehpur Sikri, to explore magnificent structures like Buland Darwaza, Diwan-e-Aam, Jodi Bai's palace and Panch Mahal. Proceed to Agra. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Take a small break, before you head out on a sightseeing tour of the city in the evening. You now get to see the spectacular Taj Mahal - one of the Seven Wonders of the World, a white marble mausoleum commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Return to the hotel for the night.
Today, post breakfast; get transfer to the railway station on-time to board a train for Jhansi. Once you arrive in Jhansi, you hit the road to go to Orchha. Complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Later, indulge in sightseeing covering Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Ram Raja Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple. Return to the hotel for the night.
Once you have your breakfast on the 8th day, get transported to Khajuraho by road. On arrival, you explore the renowned erotic temples of Khajuraho. Dating back to 950 AD, these temples were constructed by the Chandela kings. Out of the 85 temples built, only 22 have survived. Later proceed to the Panna National Park, which is 25 kilometers from Khajuraho. Spend the night at a lodge near the Park.
Days 9 and 10 are fixed for safaris and wildlife spotting at the Panna National Park. The Ministry of Tourism has given the Award of Excellence to this wildlife reserve as the best maintained one. During the safari you may spot animal species such as tiger, chital, chinkara, sambhar and sloth bear along with around 250 avifauna species including Honey Buzzard, King Vulture. You can also indulge in nature walks. Return to the lodge for overnight stay and soak in the forest sounds.
From Panna, you head to the Bandhavgarh National Park, a national park well-known for its high density of tiger population. Along with this, it also has a large breeding population of leopards as well as various species of deer. During your stay, you embark on special morning and afternoon safaris through the Park (Jeep or Elephant Safari). You may spot animal and bird species such as the Bengal tiger, Asiatic Jackal, Bengal Fox, Sloth Bear, Ratel, Gray Mongoose, etc. (NOTE: The timing of the morning as well as evening safari is fixed and you may be accompanied by a naturalist)
Day 14 starts with one last trip in the Bandhavgarh National Park before you leave for Delhi. You are transferred to Katni or Umaria railway station to catch a train for Delhi. Arrive in the city the next day. Overnight train.
Day 15, you are free to explore the city of Delhi at your own pace and time. Indulge in the activities of your interest. You can interact with the locals, can shop the well-known markets, can gorge on the lip-smacking street food. Stay overnight.
