You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro upon your arrival at 09:05 am.

After your safari briefing, you will drive towards Lake Manyara National Park through Arusha town. You will have a stop in Arusha town for currency exchange and a quick freshening up.

Later on, with picnic lunch, you will continue with your trip to Lake Manyara National Park for your half day game drive in the park.

Large flocks of pink flamingos along the lake are some of the highlights of this park. The national park is also home to the unique tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, which you/’ll have the chance to see lounging in the high tree branches. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others.

Eventually you will arrive and stay overnight near the beautiful Lake Manyara, which Ernest Hemingway called the /“The loveliest lake in Africa./”

With packed lunch boxes, you will leave the lodge in the morning for an entire day of game drives in Serengeti National park.

There is an optional hot-air balloon (not included in the package cost) /– which will take place in the morning, just as the sun rises. You/’ll float in whichever direction the morning winds take you. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude of your balloon; at times he will ascend to 1000 feet or more to see the enormity and wonderful panorama of the Serengeti.

After landing, you celebrate with a champagne and a full English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in /‘Out of Africa/’ style. After breakfast you receive your Serengeti balloon certificate and drive back to your lodge or proceed with your day/’s activities and game drives around the Serengeti.

After breakfast you/’ll depart Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area,

On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa.

Upon arrival at Ngorongoro Conservation area, you will visit the Masai Boma Masai Village for your wonderful experience of Masai people’s way of life in their natural settings. After having done with the Masai Village tour, it will be late afternoon and you can go for a nature walk on the northern Ngorongoro crater rim.

The area is inhabited by buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds. Escorted by an armed ranger you follow animal paths through dense bush.

You then drive back to your lodge at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight with meals on full board basis (plus assorted drinks)

After breakfast, it/’ll be time to begin saying goodbye to Africa, as you drive from the crater to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha town to catch your flight.
