A short drive from Mumbai and Pune, Dapoli is a seaside hill station on the Konkan Coast. Dapoli is a paradise for adrenaline junkies. All its beaches offer a host of water sports including parasailing, banana boat rides, bumper rides and jet ski rides with Murud being the biggest hub. Another treat in Dapoli is dolphin watching. Take a boat ride from the shores off to the deep seas to spot a dolphin fin or two. Dapoli, called mini Mahabaleshwar by many, was a summer camp for British Troops in the Raj. That influence is still apparent today in the ruins of St Andrews Church and the Alfred Gadney School that you can still visit. Later, make your way to the magnificent Suvarnadurg.
