Day 03 :- Haridwar Rishikesh - Haridwar
Morning excursion to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a town of ashrams, where solace seekers come to spend time. Here the River Ganges enters the plains after flowing down the Garhwal Himalayas. Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 05 :- Shimla
Shimla is a tourist destination is also the capital of the Himachal state. It is situated in the north-west Himalayas. Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hill Stations" (a term coined by the British). It has been blessed with all the natural bounties, one can think of. Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The biggest industry in Shimla is hotel, travel and tourism. Bulging at its seams with unprecedented expansion, the town retains a colonial aura, with its grand old buildings. Overnight at Shimla.
Day 08 :- Manali - Chandigarh
Morning drive to Chandigarh. Arrive and check in at hotel.
Afternoon city tour of Chandigarh- it is the best-planned with best architecture city in India. Your half day city tour includes the Secretariat, Assembly Chambers, High Court, State Library, Rose Gardens, Botanical Garden, University and the beautiful lake. Overnight at Chandigarh.
Day 09 :- Chandigarh - Amritsar
Morning drive to Amritsar. Arrive and check in at hotel.
Afternoon visit The Golden Temple is the spiritual centre of the Sikh religion. It is a superb blend of Islamic and Indian styles of architecture. Amritsar is the city of the Sikhs, an exuberant and highly spirited group of people. Also visit a historical monument that tells the sad story of mass killing during the independence movement in India, Jallianwala Bagh is another must visit in Amritsar. Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by British General Dyer. Presently the place also has a park. Overnight at Amritsar.
Day 11 :- Delhi Departure
After breakfast proceed for full day combined city tour of Old & New Delhi visit in Old Delhi -Jama Masjid, Red Fort (closed on Mondays) from outside, & visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination in 1948. In New Delhi, you will visit Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, and drive through the city viewing the Diplomatic Enclave, government buildings, Central Secretariat, President's House and Parliament House. Also visit India Gate and the Birla Temple.
