On arriving at Haridwar, you will be taken to your hotel so that you can rest and brace yourself for a wonderful evening ahead. In the evening, you will visit an ashram and famous temples of Mansa Devi and Chamunda Devi. Afterward, you will get to witness a captivating view of the aarti that is performed every day by the Ganga River. The chanting of mantras here by pandits is way more than just soothing melodies. In the evening, get back to your hotel, have your dinner, and retire to bed to get ready for the next day.
Get up in the morning, freshen up, grab your breakfast, and proceed to Rishikesh which is 30 km from Haridwar, and it will take around 1 hour to reach here. Once here, you will have the pleasure of walking on Lakshman Jhula which is a suspension bridge across the Ganga, and then you can visit Gita Bhavan which is a riverfront ashram. Parmanikatan is another ashram that you will be seeing here in addition to other places. After getting back to the hotel, you will have the remaining day to explore the city as you like. In the late evening, get back to the hotel for dinner and a sound sleep.
