Arrive at Guwahati LBG airport or Railway station. Our representative receive and proceed to Kaziranga national park (250 kms/04 hrs) – a world heritage site and home to the famous one horned Rhino; it is also a tiger reserve. Evening free at leisure and stay overnight at Kaziranga.

This morning will weak up early in the morning and set to explore the jungle on elephant back (Elephant ride 05:30 to 06:30 & 06:30 to 07:30). Then drive back to hotel and have breakfast, rest of the day at leisure or can visit nearby tea garden and local villages. After lunch, go for an exclusive jeep safari (02:30 pm onwards) in the jungle. Back to hotel before its get dark and stay overnight at Kaziranga.

After breakfast at Kaziranga hotel proceed to Shillong (280 kms/06 hrs). Enroute visit Umium Lake – the largest manmade lake in Northeast India. Evening free for shopping at Police bazaar.Overnights at Shillong .

Today’s attraction: Enroute to Cherrapunjee (56 kms/2.30 hrs) visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak - to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shillong city. At Cherrapunjee: Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah and Khrem Falls.Overnights at Shillong.

Drive to Mawlinnong village (90 kms/03 hrs) is claimed to be the cleanest village in Asia. Also walk to the living root – bridge near the village. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. Drive back to Shillong.Evening visit Police bazar. Overnights at Shillong.

After breakfast, visit Don bosco museum then drive to Guwahati (110km/03hrs) – the capital city of the state Assam know as the gateway to northeast. At Guwahati visit - Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Afternoon explore Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra - a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Then visit Shilpagram for exquisite handicrafts of the north east region then visit Balaji Temple. Overnight at Guwahati.

Morning will drive to Guwahati airport or Railway Station for onward destination.
