In the morning, get set for a truly beautiful stint in Munnar. Start your excursion with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, which is the most prominent attraction of this region. Next, we take you to visit the Tea Museum closed on Monday, which gives an insight in to the history of tea plantations of this region. Best known for the Periyar National Park that is home to wild elephants and also a thick forest cover that remains impenetrable even to sunlight. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise on direct payment at Periyar Lake in Thekkady. This is a great way of seeing animals in their natural habitat roaming around freely.
