Marmot Basin

Marmot Basin is a snow capped ski region situated in Alberta's Jasper National Park.Marmot Basin has 91 named keeps running on four mountain faces with 3,000 vertical feet of drop. The territory has a lift limit of near 12,000 skiers for each hour on seven lifts. With 30 percent amateur, 30 percent middle of the road, 20 percent progressed and 20 percent master runs, Marmot Basin is very much adjusted in the territory it offers to skiers.

The season keeps running from mid-November to early May. Mostly due to its separation from real Canadian urban communities, for example, Edmonton and Calgary, Marmot Basin is for the most part not as swarmed as other real ski resorts more distant south in Alberta and British Columbia.

Marmot Basin's offices and administrations incorporate 7 lifts, including the Canadian Rockies Express fast quad seat - the longest in the Canadian Rockies, 3 on-mountain day holds up, a full-benefit Rental Shop, Snow Sports School, diners, a nursery and retail shop. NEW for 2017/18 we are opening the territory known as "Tres Hombres" - 18 hectares 45 sections of land of mind blowing progressed and master off-piste skiing and snowboarding landscape.

Marmot Basin is found twenty minutes south of the town of Jasper, which accommodates the requirements of more than two million guests per year. Jasper National Park offers Rocky Mountain vistas, climbing and trail riding visits, whitewater boating, and other year-round attractions.
