About Tsavo National Park

Tsavo National Park is one of the oldest and most important national parks in Kenya. The park is divided into two different parts Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Tsovo East National park covers an area of more than 11000 sq. km and Tsavo West National Park is around 7000 sq. km. From a tourist's perspective, West is more popular by the virtue of its tremendous landscape beauty. It is only a road that divides the park but the difference in the wildlife and surroundings will baffle you. Elephants, leopards, giraffes and lions are the major wildlife attractions of Tsavo National Park.
