Hue is the capital city of Thua Thiln of Hue province in Vietnam. It was the imperial capital of the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945. As a natural consequence, it is well known for its monuments and architecture. Here you can see three very famous citadels (a fortress for protecting a town, sometimes incorporating a castle into which people could go for shelter during a battle).
The citadels are fun to explore on foot and walkers use the path around the outer moat to measure their distance.
