La Cueva Del Guacharo is actually a cave formation. Being the most celebrated of all the spectacular cave systems of Venezuela, the Cueva Del Guacharo deserves a visit from all tourism point of views. Located just over 10 km from the city of Caripe, they happen to be the longest, largest and most visited cave of the nation. All the caves are gigantic with elaborate galleries that are interconnected by narrow passages all over.
Guácharos, a typical nocturnal bird dominates the caves with their unique noisy ways that marks the whole essence of the caves. Apart from these birds, you will find some stunning and thrilling rock formations inside these caves.
