Enjoy Skiing in Andes

Where there is a great mountain range like the Andes, skiing becomes an automatic option, and Venezuela is no exception. Although there is only one Ski resort in Venezuela in Merida, it is rated amongst the best in the South America. The ski resort is also famous for the world's highest and longest cable car ride. The journey takes you from Barinitas station at 1,577 metres to Pico Espejoat 4,765 metres. This means you have a long stretch of slope behind you for skiing. It is advised that beginners get the hang of the slopes and take professional training before attempting as these slopes can sometimes be tricky.
