Venezuela

Venezuela is a country that is waiting to be discovered. The breathtaking natural beauty of the country will make all other beautiful things appear faded in comparison. Venezuela is a South American country which is situated on the northern most part of the continent. Many tourists to Venezuela don’t hesitate a bit calling it a piece of paradise.

Venezuela is bordered by Guyana in the east, Brazil in the south, Columbia in the west and Caribbean Sea in north. Covering an area of 916,445 km2, it holds under its territory all forms of landscapes starting from high Andes Mountains to some of the best beaches in the world. The climate too in Venezuela seems to be enticing travelers to come and explore its many known wonders and even more yet to be discovered treasures. Its average annual temperature marches around the pleasant 28°C mark in the lower areas and around chilly 8°C in the high grounds.

The lush green rain forests, the many waterfalls falling from dizzying heights, and a stunning culture, evident in the lifestyles of the people, make a perfect blend – something that is exactly what is called a tourist’s dream. It is home to Angel Falls, which is the highest waterfall in the world. No matter for how long you keep looking up the falls, this art by nature never ceases to appear charming. There are nearly 42 national parks and 21 state monuments in Venezuela apart from scores of beaches with unmatched beauty.

Venezuela with its bustling cities and stunning skyline is a strong contender for the post of one of the most developed countries in South American continent. Caracas is the capital of Venezuela and also the largest city. It is a charming city surrounded by mountains and holds in its heart the rich heritage of Venezuela in the form of many history and art museums. Other must visit cities of Venezuela are Maracaibo, Valencia, Barcelona and Puerto La Cruz.
