Empire State Building

Many might argue that Empire State Building is not the most eye caching building in New York, but none will raise finger on it being the most iconic structure in the city. Completed in the year 1931, it reaches a height of nearly 1454 feet and was the tallest building in the world at the time of its completion and held on to the status till 1971 when Twin Towers of World Trade Center were erected. Go up to the 86th floor in the building where an open air observatory is present. Get views up to 80 miles in all directions and you will know why it is called the most romantic building in the city.
