For more than 1000 years, Windsor Castle has been the royal residence. Covering an area of nearly 13 acres it is the largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been continuously under occupation since the time of William the Conqueror. When Flying into England, this would be the first recognizable monument you come across. The layout and plan has constantly been changed to suit the requirements of the residing monarch. The most visible attraction inside the palace premises is the Round tower right in the center and St. George's Chapel.
