United Arab Emirates is one of the most important tourist destinations in Middle East. When all other countries of Middle East were cautiously emerging from the shadows of wars and communal divides, UAE took a different path of sudden development. The number of sky scrapers that have been erected here in a short span of time is simply astounding and the construction continues.
UAE is situated on the southeast part of the Arabian Peninsula. Covering an area of nearly 77,000 km2, UAE has some of the highest crude oil producing sections in the world. The country is divided into 7 different emirates, of which largest is Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is also the the capital city of United Arab Emirates. As compared to other countries of Asia, the human development index is way higher and puts the country on 38th spot globally.
Almost every new building that is constructed in Dubai or Abu Dhabi is an attraction in itself. At the rate at which tourism is expanding in UAE, it is a certain possibility that tourism industry will become the highest foreign exchange earner for UAE. Most of the attractions are situated in Dubai and most of them are man made. The Palm Island, which is situated on the shores of Dubai is surely among the best wonders created by human hand. This artificial island has residences and entertainment corners and one of the best resorts in the world.
