About Koh Samui Waterfall

Koh Samui is known for housing some of the wonderful waterfalls in Thailand. Among those waterfalls Namuang is the largest and most impressive one. The cliffs of this waterfall are purple. It is located near Ban Thurian with its two separate falls. Between these two the Hin Lad waterfall allows visitors to walk in the shade of its huge trees whereas Samui Hin waterfall in the highlands is very calm and quiet indeed that makes it an ideal picnic spot. The area around waterfall is the home to some of the stunning rock formations, verdant surrounding, and the most impressive waterfalls what help to enhance the beauty of the vicinity delightfully. To reach at the waterfall one can choose a jungle track and enjoy a very simple and fascinating jungle walk on foot or one can ride on top of a friendly elephant.

The Na Muang Waterfalls are basically surrounded by lush green jungle. The way to the waterfall is quite easily accessible. Visitors, who are enthusiast and fit enough, can reach to the falls on foot. The track towards fall can be slippery or steep in some places. So you must be wearing some sturdy footwear and walk carefully. There is also a safari park called Na Muang Safari Park in between Na Muang 1 and 2. The park houses some of the amazing entertainment facilities such as elephant rides, monkey shows and other entertainment facilities to be enjoyed by the kids. One can spend the entire day doing different activities like hiking, swimming, picnicking, and can explore the fall site.

To reach at the fall site, one has to drive along the main road for about 11 kilometres from Nathon. There is a signed entrance road to Na Muang falls. The entrance of the park is around one kilometre up this road. There is no need of paying any entry charge to the Na Muang falls. But, some local guides may ask you for extra charges. So visitors must be aware about that. As the route is very easy to travel, one has less need of taking help of any guide. The best time to visit these falls is obviously the wetter months, prevailing from September to November. One can enjoy the real beauty of these falls as they will be flowing with full glory during this time.
